Sherard is an American design company founded by Michael Wells in Los Angeles. It operates at the intersection of designed objects, technical apparel, art, architecture, and cultural collaboration — modeled after the Italian design lineage of Alessi, Cappellini, and Driade.

Wells is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Pirate Worldwide, a cultural institution creating designed objects through partnerships with the Getty Museum, Dreamville, PGA Tour, and others. His background spans product development at Columbia Sportswear and Under Armour, with an MS in Sports Product Management from the University of Oregon.

The company is built on a single conviction: the most enduring brands are institutions first and products second. Every object, collaboration, and text produced under the Sherard name is measured against that standard.
